E Certificate of Origin

DECCAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE INDUSTRIES & AGRICULTURE – PUNE (“DCCIA”) IS AUTHORISED TO ISSUE NON PREFERENTIAL CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN (“COO”)

Deccan Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (DCCIA) is one of Chambers of Commerce, who are authorised by the Government of India, for issuing the Certificate of Origin (Non Preferential) to Exporter.

DCCIA issues non-preferential certificates of origin to both member and non-member companies. This is a document, used to certify that the export products are wholly obtained, produced or manufactured in India. It is generally an integral part of export documents.

Procedure for obtaining Certificate of Origin (Non- preferential)

This procedure explains various ways to How to Obtain Certificate of Origin from DCCIA.

For obtaining Certificate of Origin from Deccan Chamber of Commerce, Applicants are required to furnish the chamber a permanent indemnity bond on a Non-Judicial stamp paper as per advised amount (usually Rs. 500/- ) duly notarized.

Registering with Deccan Chamber Of Commerce,

Industry & Agriculture (DCCIA):

Applicant should approach the chamber for registering. Link for contact details:
The format for Indemnity Bond can be availed from DCCIA's office OR can be down loaded on
Stamp paper (as advised) should be purchased in the name of the Company/Establishment.
The Bond shall only be signed by the Director/Partner/Proprietor of the Company.
Please submit the bond and required documents at the office of Chamber at 305, Gulmohar Centre Point, Near Viman Nagar Chowk, Pune [ Scanned copies of documents can be emailed at [email protected] ]
After due process, the name of applicant will be entered in the Chamber’s record and the applicant shall be given a registration number by the Chamber.
On every occasion of submission of application for Certificate of Origin, the Registration Number must be mentioned on application for reference.

For Issuance of certificate:

Applicant is required to submit the required document “for issuance of Certificate of Origin non-preferential:” at Chamber’s Office.
Applicant must submit an additional set of documents for Chamber’s records, with each application for Certificate of Origin.
The certificate will be issued under seal and signature of the issuing authorities.
Charges for issuing Certificate of Origin (including online/tatkal) and attesting other documents are as per the “Rate List” which can be collected from the office of Chamber or downloaded on the website of DCCIA.
Documents received by 5 pm will be processed the same day.

For issuance of Certificate online (E Certificate of Origin) :

Applicant is required to visit the website of DCCIA and select the option “E Certificate of Origin”
On the given page, please on “APPLY ONLINE"
Please complete the page, pay the charges on line as per the “Rate List” and hit the button “submit".
